Jake and Jace were awesome! We had a slow leak in our wall. They diagnosed the problem quickly and They were very careful cutting into the sheetrock. They covered the floor with plastic and cleaned up after themselves. I felt like they did a great job for a reasonable price. My water heater went out and because of my experiences with Thurgood over several years of working with them at our HOA complex when I was a board member, I KNEW they would do a good job for me. I also knew that because I can trust them to provide fair pricing, I didn't need bother to seek other bids.Even though I had to wait a day for them to work me into their schedule, I had no problem waiting because I knew I wouldn't find anyone better.Jake and his helper did an excellent job here today. This place has some very challenging design problems they had to work around. Even so, they managed to outsmart them and do a professional and reasonably fast job of installing my new heater.I have no hesitation to recommend Thurgood. If you need a plumber, they are the people to call. They are a small company and unlike many of the bigger and more famous outfits, they depend upon having satisfied customers who will call them again. They are not like some of the others who know that when they finish with you, there will still be plenty of other suckers out there who have seen their fancy TV commercials and will call them without checking recommendations.

Thurgood plumbing is such a great company! They were very quick to respond in our hour of need. Andy did a great job diagnosing the leak in our basement bathroom. The water was leaking bad and our house wasn’t plumbed with quick shut off valves. We have a master plumbing panel and the piping used didn’t make the job an easy switch-out. After changing the pipe first, it still leaked so Andy advised us we needed to replace our faucet. I know it was a hard job, but he got it done and it’s working perfect! We are very grateful. These Guys and Gal are the BEST! I promise that Shawnell, Roger, Andy, Jake and Jace will take care of you. I manage rental properties and they all have saved me many times. You can trust them, and they are hard working. Shawnell is the Houdini of scheduling. She does a great job of triaging calls and if its an emergency she is going to work out a schedule if it is possible. I have worked with Shawnell, Roger, Andy, Jake and Jace on many occasions and they have always taken care of me. Trust me, I call the plumber more times then most people, it is always hare to vet a company but I have been able to do this more quickly because of the frequency of things going wrong with rentals. Again, they do great work! They are reasonably priced and there customer service is amazing! You could choose some of the other big companies but trust me you will not get any where near the specialized attention that Thurgood Plumbing provides in everything they do! Wow! They set a high standard for service. From Shawnell kindly answering my questions to Roger doing a great job at fixing things. They gave me their cell phone numbers and responded to texts. We had a major issue with a broken fitting out at the street. Three people gave me pricing: one for $3-5000, another for $11,000 and Roger did the job for less than $2,000! He recommended that I use American Leak Detection to make sure, which I did and gladly paid $335 to know for sure. They "sold" me only what I needed. What makes this story all the more amazing was that this happened right around Christmas. I signed the contract the Saturday before, they had it Blue Staked and did the work the day after Christmas. I am sure that they had lots of other people to help, and family to spend time with. For my family, they were a lifesaver. Oh, I almost forgot. They provided a key to turn the water on and off as needed until they could get the work done. I am very grateful for them.
